Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out how you may and may not use MoneyHive, operated by Plannerday Ltd. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. By using MoneyHive you agree to this policy.

1. Permitted use

MoneyHive is provided for your own personal, household budgeting. You may use it lawfully and for the purpose for which it is intended. Each account is for use by the individual who registered it.

2. Prohibited use

You must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • access, or attempt to access, another user's account or data without authorisation;
  • share your account credentials or let others use your account;
  • attempt to probe, scan, or breach the security of the service or its infrastructure;
  • introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code;
  • interfere with or disrupt the service, including by overloading, flooding, or denial-of-service activity;
  • access the service through automated means (scraping, bots, crawlers) except where we provide an official API or have given written permission;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written agreement;
  • upload or store content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to use;
  • misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or organisation.

3. Fair use

The service is intended for normal personal budgeting activity. We may apply reasonable rate limits and other technical controls to protect the service and other users, and we may contact you if your usage is excessive or appears automated.

4. Security and reporting

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. If you discover a security vulnerability or suspect unauthorised access, please contact us promptly at [email protected].

5. Consequences of breach

If you breach this policy we may suspend or terminate your account, remove offending content, and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities. We will act proportionately to the seriousness of the breach.
